Art Camp

Emma's nesting dolls.

Tanner's nesting penguins.

Emma's picture of The Muppets (not drawn at art camp).

I signed Emma and Tanner up for art camp this year.  It was a five day, four hour a day art camp.  They absolutely loved it!  I was so glad they got to go.  The first day Emma came home with a picture of some penguins in the arctic and I thought it was a ditto she brought home to color.  She asked me if I thought it was a copy and I said yes, then she smiled delightedly and told me she drew it all herself.  She was so proud.  They created such beautiful things that I plan to frame some and hang them up.

Emma's Book

Emma came home with this book she had written and drawn today from school. It's about her cousin Maddie's birthday party last summer. I didn't even know she rememberd all this about her birthday! It's amazing to me at how good she is for a six year old. I can't even draw this good! Serious! And I love her imagination and how she thought to come up with how to draw the fireworks. She's good. I'm jsut sayin :)
